The project “Challenges of intercultural education” has gone in the period 01/03/2008-30/10/2008 and was implemented by the Association FCASEC in partnership with youth organizations from Bulgaria, Poland, Turkey, Germany, Latvia, Greece and Slovenia.
Challenges of intercultural education – was a training course for young people and organizations who have acquired skills in the intercultural education field. The participants on this training course had a chance to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge about intercultural education.
The project activities were held in the tourist resort Baile Olanesti (Valcea) and the activities period was 21/03/2008-29/03/2008, with 9 days duration.
The themes of the project were the European awareness and youth inclusion.
The main activities of the project consisted in training sessions the young participants on interculturaleducation.
Within the training course were given training sessions by 2 trainers specialized in intercultural education.
The amount of grant came from the European Community through Youth in Action Programme for this project was 27 062 Euro.
