This project aims to use various methods of non-formal education, such as discussions amongst the participants themselves or with the professionals from the field, workshops, and other interactive activities, to address the issue of growing intolerance towards the members of the LGBTQIA+ Community. Our goal is to raise young people who would be, after the project, able to promote, defend and fight for the rights of sexual minorities in their respective communities. The project sets up 3 main objectives to carry out: 1. To gain competencies of young people activists and leaders in the topic of LGBTQIA+ by providing training, mentoring, and networking opportunities. The project itself aims to help to express themselves and find self-identity through cinematography as a tool for expression. 2. To promote the visibility of LGBTQIA+ identities and experiences in short movies, and the representation of diverse LGBTQIA+ perspectives, by showcasing movies made by or featuring LGBTQIA+ or LGBTQIA+ stories. To support the development of new LGBTQIA+ themed videos and the emergence of new LGBTQIA+ rights. 3. To emphasise issues that concern the LGBTQIA+ community, especially youth; and promote values, tolerance, human rights, respect, freedom, cultures, and international collaboration among young people, youth leaders, and organizations. To support the development of inclusive and safe environments for LGBTQIA+ people in society.
