The main goal of the “Key to Solidarity” project is to promote solidarity through non-formal volunteering activities in
support of young people with reduced opportunities in Valcea County. Solidarity is needed among the local community, in general and especially in pandemic crisis situations, as the Coronavirus pandemic is at the moment. The volunteering project will promote solidarity in terms of blood donation to hospitals and will implement hygiene information campaigns.
The project aims to build bridges between people with different background promoting solidarity at the local community level after carrying out activities with young people with Down syndrome and marginalized young people from Roma communities. Through these activities we will contribute to the social inclusion of young people with Down syndrome and
young Roma following the promotion of social entrepreneurship.
The “Key to Solidarity” project will promote solidarity among the local community by involving young people and the community in solidarity activities that will contribute to strengthening cohesion, citizenship in Europe and the social inclusion of young people with reduced opportunities.
The profile of volunteer is:
– age between 18-30 years old.
– number equal of boy and girls.
– young people interested to work on environment in order to promote healthy lifestyle.
-young people with fewer opportunities.
