This project is promoted by “FCASEC” organisation in coo-peration with “The Learning Machine ltd”. In the project will be involved 12 teachers working as trainers within FCASEC organisation.
After taking part in this project, they will have the opportunity to implement new IT programmes using open source and free technologies, in the Romanian educational system and also to the small and medium enterprises level.
This project gives the opportunity of forming specialists in the open source and free technologies domain and who will promote, at their turn, these sources with zero costs.
The project’s goals are:
- specialists’ formation in the open source and free technologies domain
- the adaptation of some British IT formatting programmes to the Romanian reality
- the realisation of a IT course platform in open source and free technologies domain and it’s accreditation to the Romanian Ministry of Education, Research and Youth.
- the implementation of open sources and free technologies optional courses for pupils and in the regional centres for adults’ education.
The mobility will be in Great Britain during 10-25 May 2009 and will last 2 weeks.
