To put it bluntly, I have to admit December has been the easiest month so far. The language barrier is starting to go away, which in return means it’s becoming much easier for me to get immersed in the local culture, this being a very strong point concerned to my stay in Lisbon.
Other than this, I have to say, spending the holidays here has been enjoyable. The work at the centre is becoming much easier, to the point where the environment is becoming quite natural (much opposed to the first month, where I often found myself lost in almost everything).
To conclude, I have to admit that my stay here, in Portugal has been quite positive and I do hope to see what the next months will bring. It’s enjoyable to see how natural a place can start to feel once you’ve spend a bit of time in it.
