“EVS on the move in Balearic Islands” is the name of the partnership building activity in which FCASEC took part as partner, in the period 6-11 October 2013, in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. The project was coordinated by Centre d`Estudis de l`Espai and Calvia Municipality, with the support of Youth in Action Program, Action 4.3. The project has gathered together 20 representatives of 17 youth bodies from Spain, Romania, Spain, Hungary, Czech Republic, Italy, Portugal, Estonia, Germany and Poland, with experience in the European Voluntary Service program.
From the activities implemented within the event, we mention: partnership building activities, presentations of the organizations and of the projects implemented by them, meeting with the local authorities and very important activity, it was organized a session of interaction of the partners with young people from Calvia, to who to disseminate the EVS program, in order to inform the young people about the opportunities offered by Youth in Action Program, particularly the European Voluntary Service.
It is expected this event to be followed by future partnerships under Erasmus + Program and other common activities and in the future FCASEC to host volunteers from the mentioned countries and young Romanian volunteers to participate in youth projects implemented by the partners in the project.
